This course is aimed at persons undertaking and recording the inspection and testing of electrical equipment commonly know us as “PAT Testing”.
| The objective of the City & Guilds 2377-02 Certificate of Competent Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment - Portable Appliance Testing is to give delegates theoretical and practical experience in the implementation of a formal inspection and testing regime for electrical equipment (portable appliances). |
| The City & Guilds 2377-02 is the second unit to City & Guilds 2377 Portable Appliance Testing qualifications. During the course, a number of practical exercises are undertaken using a range of portable appliance testing equipment. This course is aimed at individuals that who be undertaking the practical inspection and testing of electrical equipment. |
| There is a legal requirement for individuals conducting, inspecting and testing of electrical equipment to be competent and demonstrate an ability to inspect and test class 1 equipment correctly and to be able to complete equipment registration forms. |
