    Course Content
     
    On completion of the course the delegates will be able to:
     
  • Identify hazards and unsafe practices
  • Monitor and audit management’s safety policies, procedures and performance
  • List the requirements of health and welfare legislation
  • Assist in the preparation and review of safety policies
  • Advise on action to minimise the risk of fire
  • Undertake health and safety induction training
  • Communicate effectively on health and safety issues
  • Prepare reports
  • Describe where to obtain advice on health and safety
  • Maintain an information system
  • Organise health and safety management
  • Investigate injury, maintain reports, prepare reports
  • Select appropriate inspection techniques
  • Undertake workplace inspection

    Course Duration
     
    This course takes 13 days duration which includes the examination day. The course is run on a week on week off basis allowing for revision time between each block of training.
